FOR SKILLED NURSING FACILITIES

Give Your Team
A Better Way to Connect.

Mobility Safe is being developed around problems that occur during ordinary skilled nursing operations: a mobility recommendation changes, the next staff member needs to know the correct level, a transfer requires another person, or the person providing care has to leave the area to locate help. The platform creates a dedicated mobility workflow intended to connect therapy recommendations, nursing awareness, direct-care access, assistance requests, and facility oversight.

THE WORKFLOW CHALLENGE

Important Information Exists.
Reaching It Quickly Is the Problem.

The challenge is rarely that mobility information does not exist. The challenge is keeping the most relevant mobility guidance accessible as residents progress and as different staff members provide care across shifts, departments, and locations. Mobility Safe is intended to give that information a focused operational home between the people establishing mobility recommendations and the people carrying them out.

01

Mobility Changes

A resident may move from extensive assistance to a lower level, change devices, develop a new precaution, or require a different transfer method. Mobility Safe gives the mobility profile a visible update workflow so the current recommendation is easier for authorized staff to recognize.

02

Staff Are Moving

Nurses, CNAs, restorative staff, and therapy teams are rarely in one place. When a two-person task suddenly needs another set of hands, finding someone can mean leaving the resident and walking between rooms, halls, departments, or nursing stations. Assistance Requests are intended to shorten that communication path.

03

Communication Is Fragmented

Mobility guidance may be discussed verbally, documented elsewhere, written on temporary communication tools, or passed between shifts in different ways. Mobility Safe does not replace those required systems; it creates a dedicated operational layer for the mobility information, assistance request, and response workflow staff use in the moment.

THE MOBILITY SAFE APPROACH

Connect the Information,
the Resident and the Team.

Mobility Safe creates a dedicated mobility-safety workflow intended to complement existing facility operations. Authorized staff can move from resident identification to current mobility guidance, determine whether another person is required, communicate the assistance request, and keep the response visible within one focused system. The platform is not designed to replace the EHR or facility policy; it addresses the operational gap between knowing the recommendation and acting on it.

1
STEP ONE Review Mobility

Access the resident's current assistance level, transfer approach, device information, precautions, and mobility instructions.

2
STEP TWO Identify the Need

Use the current guidance and professional judgment to determine whether the mobility task requires another staff member or support.

3
STEP THREE Request Assistance

Send the selected team or department the location and task-focused information needed to understand the request.

4
STEP FOUR Coordinate Response

Allow the request, reply, and status to remain visible while staff coordinate the response and close the request when addressed.

ONE FACILITY. MULTIPLE TEAMS.

Designed for Interdisciplinary Use.

Mobility safety crosses departmental lines. Therapy may establish or update recommendations, nursing integrates mobility needs into the shift, CNAs and restorative staff complete frequent point-of-care mobility tasks, and facility leadership manages the people and systems supporting the operation. Mobility Safe is designed so each group can interact with the part of the workflow relevant to its role rather than requiring every employee to use the system in exactly the same way.

OT / PT

Therapy

Therapy can maintain mobility-focused recommendations such as assistance level, transfer approach, device use, safety instructions, and update status so other authorized disciplines have a concise view of the guidance established during rehabilitation.

RN / LVN

Nursing

Nursing can review current mobility guidance while coordinating care, recognize assistance requirements, receive relevant requests, and stay aware of mobility updates that affect routine transfers and movement during the shift.

CNA / RNA

Direct Care

CNAs and restorative staff complete many of the mobility tasks that occur throughout the day. Mobile access can place assistance level, staff requirement, device information, and transfer guidance closer to toileting, bed mobility, transfers, and routine movement.

ADMIN

Facility Leadership

Facility leadership can manage authorized users, account status, facility settings, wearable assignments, and other operational controls while maintaining oversight of how Mobility Safe is configured within the organization.

IMPLEMENTATION

Designed Around the Facility.

Implementation begins with the facility rather than with individual consumers. The organization establishes its environment, authorized staff accounts, roles, and resident-linked mobility profiles. The workflow can then be introduced to the departments that will use Mobility Safe so staff understand what the system is for, what information belongs in it, and how requests and mobility updates fit into existing operations.

01 Facility Setup Configure the facility environment.
02 Staff Access Establish authorized users and roles.
03 Mobility Profiles Connect mobility guidance to resident identifiers.
04 Team Adoption Introduce the mobility and assistance workflow.
THE GOAL

Less Time Searching.
More Connected Mobility Care.

The goal is straightforward: reduce avoidable friction between the mobility recommendation and the mobility task. Mobility Safe is intended to make relevant guidance easier to reach, make requests for another staff member easier to communicate, and give facility teams a clearer operational view of the mobility workflow without attempting to replace the systems and professional judgment already required for resident care.
