MOBILITY SAFE TECHNOLOGY

Technology Designed
Around Mobility Safety.

Mobility Safe Technology connects software, resident-linked wearable hardware, and facility communication workflows around one specific area: mobility. The technology is being developed so authorized staff can move from resident identification to mobility guidance and, when needed, to an assistance request without relying on several disconnected systems or searching the building for information and support.

THE PLATFORM

Designed to Put Mobility Information Closer to the Point of Care.

Post-acute mobility is dynamic. A resident may progress from extensive assistance to a lower level, change assistive devices, develop new precautions, or require a different transfer strategy during the course of rehabilitation. Mobility Safe is designed to keep those mobility-focused recommendations in a digital workflow that can be updated and reached across the devices staff use throughout the facility.

01 MOBILITY SAFE SOFTWARE

A Digital Mobility
Safety Platform.

The software provides the operational center of Mobility Safe. Authorized users can sign into a facility-specific environment, review resident mobility profiles, request assistance, receive notifications, communicate around mobility tasks, and access tools appropriate to their role. Facility administrators have additional controls for staff access, wearable assignments, and operational management, while clinical users can remain focused on the information needed for everyday mobility tasks.

02 MOBILITY SAFE WEARABLE

Resident-Linked
Wearable Technology.

The wearable provides the physical connection between a resident and the appropriate Mobility Safe profile. Rather than displaying a full set of medical information on the band, the concept is designed around a resident-linked identifier that authorized staff can use to reach the relevant mobility workflow. This supports point-of-care access while keeping the wearable itself simple.

The hardware architecture is also being explored beyond basic profile access. Future integrations may support functions such as fall-related awareness, SOS signaling, proximity or location information, vibration feedback, and communication with compatible facility receivers. Those capabilities are developing technology and will be incorporated as hardware, software integration, and real-world testing support their use.

Designed for continued development. Hardware capabilities and wearable safety functions may evolve as Mobility Safe completes development, integration, and testing.
THE CONNECTION

From Mobility Information to Staff Response.

The value of the technology is in the connection between its parts. A resident-linked identifier leads authorized staff to the current mobility profile. That profile helps clarify how the resident should be assisted. When the task requires additional staff, the same platform can support an assistance request and communication workflow. The objective is a shorter path from identifying the resident to understanding the mobility need and coordinating the appropriate response.
